This interactive session provides a safe and inclusive space for participants to delve into the roots, impacts, and manifestations of these forms of prejudice. This workshop aims to foster awareness, empathy, and critical thinking skills. Together, we can confront prejudice.

On July 19th, 2024, URI North America hosted a space to understand the steady growth of discrimination and hate crimes against Muslim community members and its connection to centuries of stereotypes and misunderstandings. This space was an opportunity to learn from a panel of CC members and community leaders who share their work against Islamophobia.

Addressing and Fighting Islamophobia

American Jews and Muslims come together to discuss the responsibility of (inter)faith leaders in addressing the ongoing conflict in Israel-Palestine. Recognizing the trauma experienced by many, both historically and in the present, in light of the dehumanizing Anti-Muslim and Anti-Semitic rhetoric, we aim to create an open and inclusive space for discussing both faith and politics.
